Brand identity for a youth centred mental health programme

Contributors

What we were asked to do

Create a brand (including name, strapline, visual identity and guidelines) for a new UK-wide mental health programme for young people. The brand needed to cuts through a crowded schools marketplace and really resonate with young people and teachers.

What we did

We carried out trend research into young people’s tastes and motivations before arriving at our creative approach. Putting three concepts into testing with 14–18-year-olds and teachers. Our research respondents loved the visual look, feel and palette, giving us a clear steer for final development and execution.

What they thought about it

A hugely successful programme embodied in a confident and distinctive brand. We rolled out across UK schools in 2019, and by 2020, the client had created a resource library structured around the Bloom brand guidelines.
