Addaction

Visual identity and messaging strategy for a UK based charity

Contributors

What we were asked to do

Develop a compelling visual identity and messaging strategy that resonates with all target audiences of the charity, including the ongoing donation program. The objective was to establish a fresh, engaging approach that effectively communicates the charity's mission and values across various platforms.

What we did

"I can relate to you."

Our research really highlighted Addaction's prowess in tackling the stigma around addiction. People reaching out for their services, much like anyone else, face significant physical, mental, and emotional hurdles. Our approach emphasised finding a common ground we could all relate to. We used visuals and language that showcased progress and recovery, unveiling a path to a better life that resonates with our supporters. On the visual side, we incorporated light paint strokes, symbolising the positive potential within each individual and the array of possibilities ahead.

What they thought about it

Internally, the new identity received positive feedback and effectively contributed to strengthening fundraising propositions across Events and In-memory materials.
