What we were asked to do
Scope, a UK-based disability charity, asked us to create a unique visual identity for "Scope for Change," their flagship campaign training programme for young disabled people. The challenge was to design a look that aligned with the new masterbrand while allowing Scope for Change to stand out as its own initiative. The aim was to inspire a sense of empowerment, pride, and belonging among participants while supporting their advocacy work. Our deliverables included both printed and digital assets.
What we did
We focused on creating a vibrant, dynamic visual identity that reflected the energy of youth activism and empowerment. Moving away from overly literal design elements like speech bubbles, we developed a bold logo and wordmark that symbolised movement and progress while staying connected to Scope’s broader brand through colour and typography. Along with the visual identity, we produced a full suite of materials, from pull-up banners and stickers to social media graphics and digital assets, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
What they thought
The client was very pleased with the identity, particularly appreciating how the design captured the spirit of youth activism without being simplistic. The vibrant colours and dynamic logo effectively communicated the mission of empowering young disabled people to lead change. The branding stood out while maintaining alignment with Scope’s masterbrand, and the assets enhanced participant engagement and connection to the program. Overall, Scope felt that the new identity successfully launched Scope for Change as a distinctive and empowering initiative.
