What we were asked to do
The Early Intervention Foundation had developed a brand identity, including a logo and color palette. However, the documentation was lacking, and the brand had evolved beyond its original designs. They engaged us to codify the brand—conducting an audit to assess current practices, identify what was effective, and determine areas needing improvement.
What we did
We began with a comprehensive audit of the brand and its materials, collecting everything produced over the five years (2013-2019) since its inception. After assessing the existing assets, we focused on structuring the document to meet the identified requirements. This process was generally straightforward; however, we needed to establish print and Pantone color references, as we only had RGB values available. Additionally, we formulated guidelines for clear space, logo positioning, and provided general advice on photography. To streamline the creation of image styles, we also developed an action for Photoshop.
What they thought
The client was very pleased with the outcome of the brand guidelines. We continued to collaborate for several years, implementing these guidelines across various types of documentation.
