What we were asked to do
We were asked by St Martin in the Fields to create a seasonal creative campaign that would be applied across a large number of print and digital pieces of collateral. The design needed to be easily replicated and applied to varying formats quickly and efficiently. As with all St Martin in the Fields creative, it needed to convey warmth alongside the seasonality.
We needed to write all the copy across all pieces of collateral with key messages, encouragement to donate as well and practical information for events.
What we did
After completing three creative concept options, including illustration and photography, the client settled on the watercolour falling leaves. Each of these leaves was individually cut out, colour balanced, and laid out with accompanying textures. Two colour ways were created, allowing the design to have longevity over the season. The leaves were then laid out and applied to a large variety of print and digital collateral. Our copy team established a key story with variations for the different pieces of collateral.
What they thought
The client was delighted with the final designs and we were then asked to continue with work on the Christmas 2022 campaign.
