What we were asked to do

Develop a comprehensive 70,000-word series of reports for 'Our Lives, Our Journey,' a groundbreaking five-year research study tracking the experiences of disabled individuals through their lives. Emphasise the transformation of extensive research data into human, relatable, and accessible formats to foster engagement, while minimising reliance on imagery.

What we did

Employing a story-centric approach, we translated complex data into a compelling storyline. The report was divided into five sub-reports, each with a cover that encapsulated various disability life stages. The look and feel tied to the Scope brand, seamlessly adjusted to the structured format. We sought out the human voices amid the research data, our design spotlighted participants' experiences, conveying relatable stories in an engaging and accessible manner.

What they thought

They were super happy with the series of reports – especially as it was realising the outcome of five years of dedicated effort on their part. The project marks a significant milestone for Scope, representing their first venture into research and advocacy since rebranding. We are thrilled to have played a key role in bringing this vision to life.
