What we were asked to do
Create a visually compelling impact report tailored for high-value donors, empowering a small charity to stand out even with limited image resources. This succinct document aims to enhance their visibility, guaranteeing a strong and enduring impression on donors, all while working within tight resource constraints.
What we did
We adopted a bold design approach for the report, drawing inspiration from Saul Bass's style of illustration to convey the central message, "Conflict is a normal part of life. Violence is not." The visually striking aesthetic was strategically crafted to engage readers and provide a distinctive design that sets Peace Direct apart from its peers. Our layout was meticulously structured, allowing the narrative to resonate on different levels – providing a quick overview and inviting deeper consideration.
What they thought
The charity board and donors responded positively to the report, considering it a valuable asset. It played a crucial role in generating significant high-value donor income, with the CEO even taking a bagful to every meeting, showcasing its impact. Peace Direct experienced a substantial increase in income from £1.39 million to £3.10 million that year.
