Breast Cancer Now

What we were asked to do

We needed to develop a versatile golfing proposition across individual, corporate, and challenge events, while ensuring inclusivity and distinctiveness within Breast Cancer Now's ethos. Emphasising event-driven engagement over membership, with sympathetic communication and affordability amid rising costs. Encouraging supporters to contribute time and money, fostering a cohesive and accessible golfing community.

What we did

In a collaborative workshop with the Breast Cancer Now team, we crafted an event-centric proposition, fine-tuning themes, stories, and copy lines for a female-focused approach. After approval, we developed a visual direction inspired by Breast Cancer Now's palette, featuring vibrant pink backgrounds, graphic elements to accentuate text, and compelling full-bleed imagery. This approach ensures golfers and potential fundraisers are prominently engaged in the cause.

What they thought about it

“I worked with the Yarn Creative team, then Narrative Design on a project for Breast Cancer Now’s golf fundraising. We wanted a new creative concept; messaging and look and feel to refresh our golf fundraising activities. This was to be used across webpages, fundraising resources and marketing collateral. The team were great to work with, getting to know Breast Cancer Now’s needs, putting forward engaging ideas and ultimately delivering a piece of work that was fit for purpose on time and to budget. I’m looking forward to seeing the impact this work has on the charity’s golf supporters.”
