What we were asked to do

We were tasked with invigorating the Early Intervention Foundation's annual reports from 2018 to 2022. Our challenge was to reflect the organisation's detail-oriented approach, effectively showcasing achievements with limited image options. These reports targeted policymakers, public service commissioners, frontline practitioners, service providers, and those unfamiliar with the organisation.

What we did

Before delving into EIF's inaugural annual reports in 2018, we thoroughly researched sector trends for standout appeal. The 2018 report needed to complement the summary document we simultaneously completed. We crafted covers and spreads to match the content while maintaining coherence. The annual report featured a detailed narrative with supportive infographics and pull-out boxes, evolving towards impactful reporting. Establishing a unified design style early on facilitated seamless adjustments. Since the 2018 report, we've progressively built and refined the design, giving EIF reports a distinct identity.

What they thought about it

Our client loved the 2018 annual report design and stayed with us until their merger in 2023. Each year, we evolved our design collaboratively with them.
