What we were asked to do

We were tasked with crafting a set of print ad templates targeted at audiences unfamiliar with Orbis. Our objective was to convey the emotional impact of Orbis's transformative influence on individuals' lives, all while effectively communicating Orbis's identity and mission. The challenge was to craft concise messages catering to brief attention spans and suitable for low-dwell-time formats. The end result had to be ready-to-use templates that seamlessly blend into various campaign styles.

What we did

Our advertising suite featured a blend of brand and fundraising materials, encouraging readers to explore Orbis. The brand ads spotlighted the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital and the profound impact of cataract surgeries. In fundraising ads, we specifically addressed child cataracts, intertwining compelling statistics with a clear call to action. Throughout the suite, our language and imagery consistently emphasised Orbis's unique position in both ophthalmology and aviation, conveying themes of hope, dignity, and expertise.

What they thought about it

In the initial six months, we celebrated a significant accomplishment with £5 million raised, accompanied by a remarkable 123% surge in donations within the first year. These results underscored the perceived impact and efficacy of our campaigns, indicating substantial support and engagement from their audience.
