What we were asked to do

We were tasked with developing Orbis's inaugural messaging toolkit. The challenging was to compile Orbis's diverse activities, including ophthalmology and aviation specialties, into a user-friendly writing guide. Incorporate layperson descriptions for technical terms. Organise purpose, objectives, programs, advocacy, and fundraising work comprehensively.

What we did

Crafted for versatility, the toolkit offers diverse information levels for varied purposes and audiences. Sections like 'What We Do' and 'The Orbis Flying Eye Hospital' feature short, medium, and long descriptions, alongside tailored content for technical audiences. It encompasses country-specific guides, audience-specific fundraising messages, facts, statistics, a style guide, and a comprehensive glossary with simplified terms and usage directives.

What they thought about it

The client and we were delighted with the results. Our pivotal document is embraced across the organisation, from branding to finance. It serves as a roadmap for alignment and messaging. In the latest update, collaborative efforts ensure continued relevance organisation-wide.
