What we were asked to do
Discover a new way to tell a familiar story. While #HelloYellow enjoyed remarkable success among schools, corporates, and individuals for years, the momentum was levelling off. It was time to inject a burst of innovation into the copy and design, all while preserving the cherished essence of the event. We also had to approach it with sensitivity, recognising that many young people had faced significant challenges over the past year.
What we did
"Little Yellow, Big Impact" perfectly summed up our campaign approach. Encouraging small gestures for youth mental health, like wearing yellow on World Mental Health Day, it prompted diverse expressions of support. The vibrant visuals, blending bold headlines with textured oranges, added a fresh touch to the narrative. Characters like the 'face paint fanatic' demonstrated various ways to champion the cause, leading to engaging conversations across social platforms.
What they thought about it
We thoughtfully prepared an outstanding suite of materials, covering everything from classroom resources to corporate posters and social cards across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. We are thrilled to share that our efforts have been well-received.
