What we were asked to do
Bikeability asked us to copy write their strategy document into a clear, one-page summary that shows their goals for the next ten years, from 2025 to 2035.
The new document is mainly for people in the cycling and training industry, like instructors, training providers, and those who receive grants. It’s also meant for key partners like Active Travel England and the Department for Transport. At the same time, it needed to be easy for the general public to understand, especially those who may not be familiar with the Bikeability Trust or the work they do.
Once we completed the one-page summary, we were then asked to take the full strategy document and complete the full design of the strategy document.

What we did
Bikeability wanted us to use the same style of illustrations from their Tools for Schools and Cycle to School Week projects, which they were really happy with. They felt these illustrations helped make their materials feel friendly, fun, and easy to understand. They also asked that the design build on the positive feedback they got from their last impact report. That meant keeping things bright, clear, and engaging, making sure the layout was easy to follow and helped tell their story in a simple, effective way.

What they thought
"Thank you for this, it looks so good!"
