Powerpoint and google slides templates

What we were asked to do

We were asked to help out with an introduction PowerPoint deck that the Business Development team needed to use. The deck was way too big, even after stripping back the slides and compressing it into a PDF. On top of that, the brand font was messing up when the file was compressed. Our job was to tidy up the design and formatting to make sure the presentation was the right size and stayed true to the brand. We also had to create a PowerPoint template with fixed sections that couldn’t be changed, so when other teams used it to make their own presentations, the brand stayed consistent. The brand book was provided to keep everything on point.

What we did

We worked on compressing the images in the PowerPoint presentation and used low-res versions provided, as well as screengrabs for background fills, to maintain quality while reducing file size. We then exported the presentation to PDF, ensuring it was optimised. Throughout, we made sure everything was aligned with the brand guidelines. For the Google Slides version, we made several tweaks to ensure consistency with the PowerPoint, as certain elements didn’t export properly between the two platforms. We also recommended using MS Office online for creating PDFs to preserve links and ensure the final version was optimised.

What they thought

Our client was thrilled with the final files and guidelines, saying, "This is absolutely wonderful, thank you." The wider teams were equally pleased, as the templates saved them time and ensured consistent presentations.
