What they asked us to do
We were asked to help develop key messaging around advanced cancer to explain what Maggie’s offers, with the goal of testing it for use in communications and in their centres. This included creating a leaflet aimed at people with cancer, as well as their friends and families, to outline the support Maggie’s provides in this area. Additionally, we were tasked with designing social media assets featuring the key messages around advanced cancer to help raise awareness and support their outreach efforts.

What we did
We began by focusing on the copy for the leaflet, recognising the sensitivity required for these marketing materials. It was crucial to spend ample time refining this part of the project. We developed three potential copy routes before settling on the final concept. Once the copy was in place, we moved on to designing the leaflet to effectively showcase the messaging. The design was then tested before being finalised and distributed.

What they thought
Our client was delighted with the results, especially as the testing led to minimal changes. While we haven’t received any anecdotal feedback yet, the client was very happy with the final outcome and the quick turnaround on creation and amendments. We continue to work closely with Maggie’s on a number of projects.
