What they asked us to do
We were asked to complete Sue Ryder’s quality report for 2023–24 and the most recent report for 2024–25. The brief was to keep things familiar with a consistent format, make the reports visually engaging with images that bring the text to life, and ensure everything was clear, easy to navigate, and approachable. We were also asked to give the reports a warm, friendly tone that really helps readers connect with the organisation’s mission and achievements.
What we did
Working with Sue Ryder over the years means we know the brand really well, and we’ve completed their quality reports for 2023–24 and the most recent for 2024–25. The original report was pretty text-heavy, so we livened things up by adding engaging visuals, Sue Ryder’s colourful shapes, and standout pull-out quotes in each chapter. We made sure it was easy to read with clear headings and subheadings, and simplified navigation by including clickable links throughout. All these tweaks made the report not just more visually appealing, but also much easier to understand, helping readers connect with the key information.
