Sue Ryder

What they asked us to do

Design and layout the quality accounts for 2023-24, ensuring consistency with the previous year's format. Maintain the same structural elements to provide a familiar framework for readers. The report needed to be visually engaging, incorporating a variety of images that complement the text and enhance overall understanding. Focus on creating content that is clear, easy to read, and navigable, allowing readers to find information quickly. The overall tone needed to be warm, friendly, and accessible, inviting readers to connect with the material and fostering a sense of engagement with the organisation’s mission and achievements.

What we did

The quality report was initially very text-heavy, so we enriched each chapter with engaging visuals, Sue Ryder’s colourful shapes, and prominent pull-out quotes. We ensured the report was easy to read, using clear headings and subheadings for better structure. Navigation was simplified by incorporating clickable links throughout the document. These enhancements made the report not only visually appealing but also accessible, allowing readers to easily understand and engage with the key information.
